Throwback Thursday all the way back to 1912. This is Waldemar G. Hansen, the original owner of #hansenmachineworks. In front of him is the engine out of the first airplane to fly across the US, built by the #wrightbrothers. Waldemar did an overhaul on the engine after the plane crashed and the pilot was tragically killed in an exhibition flight. #airplane #engine #throwbackthursday #history
