To our Insurance Clients, The status of the Covid-19 / Coronavirus is changing rapidly. Containment and mitigation efforts are underway both Globally and Locally and at HANSEN INSURANCE we are doing our part as well. We are committed to the safety and well being of our clients and employees and the areas in which they live and work. During this period of elevated concern we want to assure you we are doing our part to protect you during this public health crisis. We have alway...s adhered to strong health and safety standards for our offices. We have implemented even stronger measures in accordance with guidelines issued by the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and local health authorities to ensure a safe environment for everyone, which includes enhanced cleaning above and beyond the janitorial service we provide at our offices. We must all do our part to contain and mitigate the potential contamination and spread of the Covid-19 / Coronavirus. Regular handwashing helps to stop the spread of bacteria and can cut your risk of developing a respiratory infection by up to 16%. Washing your hands for 40-60 seconds with soap and hot water is best although if unavailable using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol is also an alternative option. The CDC recommends regular cleaning and disinfection of frequently touched surfaces and objects. This includes elevator buttons, countertops, doorknobs and handrails as well as other frequently touched items. Other preventive measures include: Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Avoid close contact with sick people. Remember to stay home if you are sick. We encourage all of our clients to correspond with our firm through electronic communication. Emails and Facsimile offer the most expeditious way to address your insurance needs. We will be staffing our office and utilizing social distancing protocols to ensure the safety and well being of our clients and employees. We will continue to staff our phones and customer service desks. We are aware that these unusual circumstances may create some adverse financial impact on businesses and individuals due to cancellations and changing behaviors of your customers and employers.
