Happy 15th birthday to my big guy! He’s had a rough year but he’s mentally ready to be back in the game. A few more months my friend

We got our buckles and awards from the Winter series at yesterday’s WCRH spring show #1! Anna and Kit were reserve champion for the youth division and won a beautiful cowperson tack headstall. Rita and I won the Green Horse division buckle which may be my prettiest one yet! Charlotte and Shaun aka potato brought home three blue ribbons, one 2nd and a fourth in the rail stakes class. Jenn and Jager placed 2nd, 3rd, and 6th in their division and 3rd in the rail stakes.... Anna and Kit were 2nd in ranch riding and 3rd in rail trail and conformation. Sheila Ferguson’s Sizzle did amazing in her WCRH debut and won the trail, was 2nd in the ranch riding and 5th in the rail out of 16 horses. Another member of our barn family made the March Issue of California Horsetrader! Congrats to Jenn and her boy Dun Rattlin (Jager) pictured middle/left. These two are becoming quite the ranch horse team can’t wait to see what our spring show season brings

We had a great show #3 of the WCRH Winter Buckle Series @ Tucalota Creek Ranch! So proud of these riders for placing top five in 4 huge classes. Anna rode Kit placing 3rd in a ranch trail, 3rd in ranch riding, 4th in conformation and 5th in the rail class for the youth division. Taylor rode Shaun (aka potato.. the senior super pony) placing 5th in ranch trail, 5th in rail, and 6th in the rail stakes class! Green rider was a HUGE division. Jenn and Jager also in the same hug...e Green Rider division took 4th in trail, 4th in rail, and 4th in ranch riding! My girl Rita felt off in our first ranch riding class so I scratched the rest only to realize we placed second out of a large talented group of horses and riders The best part is seeing these girls and their horses making huge strides in progress every show. Too excited not to share these awards before we’ve got them all in one place Big thanks to Rusty Brown Jewelry and Double B Wild Rags for our reserve champion prizes and West Coast Ranch Horse for the class champion bridle bag I won on Command Those Leggs (Mandy) owned by Jenni Dawson. The #wcrhrendezvous was an amazing show with a big talented turn out of ranch horse lovers at the beautiful CRC ranch here in Temecula. I’m still in awe of the weekend that our friends at WCRH pulled off. From the futurity to the dinner & sponsored wine tasting, the silent auction, the raffles and the huge Sunday show it was an amazing success!

We survived the HOT August SCPHA show! So proud of this girl at her very first show She conquered a really tough trail course and brought home a 3rd a 5th and a 6th!! Rita won the conformation this morning and then we had to scratch the rest of the day - I think she’s got an abscess brewing Dun-Good Photos took awesome shots as always
