Halo Pet Services-Steve Farrah Dog Training

Last week we lost a good girl. She passed away last Saturday. Loosing her battle with health problems. Lola has been one of my clients along with her pack mate, Tristan for 8 years. We were attached to her. She had a happy life thanks to her person, Lisa. She was with my pack a lot . She was family to us. And a big part of our pack. My big pack will help Tristan cope with his loss. We will miss her terribly. And never forget her sweetness. RIP Lola

Sorry, haven't posted in month's. So much fun going on. A while back one of my clients told me she'd never met such a hopeless optimist as me. I told her "no, I have tons of hope. That's how we always succeed. Only an optimist can teach dogs. Some of my awesome clients in my grids are Winston, Camden, Puppy, Prophet, Bella, Little Bella, Tristan, Serce, Lola, Lucy, Storm, Wyatt, Francis and Diesel. We always want to set our Dogs up for Success.

All Dogs are smart. When we train and teach them they become very clever. From the minute they come in to your family they are learning. Never wait to start teaching them or they will teach themselves. In my grid are some of my newest students; Bella, Maya, Walter (with Cali), Luna and Oso. And finally, Raja's future is much clearer now, he has joined our pack and will be staying here with us. Welcome Raja! Also shown is Declan, long time client.

Happy Valentines day to everyone! Although, everyday of the year is Valentines day around Halo Pet Services. Always one giant continuous love fest, no matter what. Upper left; Mia and Diesel They've just started puppy training. A little extra training needs to be dealt with when you have siblings. But they'll be good citizens too with some training.(and people training) Along with my pack, other clients in my photos are, Riley, Bella, Winston, Camden, Cocoa, and Raja, all enjoying big fun. Raja and my Halo have tightly bonded, I knew they would. They both have very similar personalities and characteristics with a hint of wild. True love

Us people make our own decisions, good or bad, Our dogs depend on our decisions for everything in life. Upper left; my client Sampson with my Twiggy. Below that pic is Hunter. I'm working with him and his foster person(my hero). His unwanted behavior is serious but learned, that means I can reteach him. And I will. He has an important job waiting for him. Bottom right is khalia, Her owner had an operation, I was happy to help. she's so pretty. The rest of pics are Raja with my pack. He's a 10 year old Norwegian Elk Hound. His person had heart surgery last Tuesday so hes gonna stay awhile. Many of firsts this week for him. He learned all of my rules and what I expect from him quickly. One of his firsts was being trusted completely.

Before I talk about my photos I'd like to announce that Turbo, (in my last post) will be staying in his home, That's good news. Nice job Mary. In my grid is Pinot, Mafu and their new little brother, Searce. He just started his puppy training. Congrats Pat and your whole pack. Puppy training teaches not only important disciplines and rules, It also teaches them that learning new stuff is rewarding and fun. Dogs don't wait for training, they start learning the second they come into your home. And finally, Declan and Sampson stretching their leg with my pack and loving it!

Hello fellow Dog lovers! This is Turbo. He is young, smart and very handsome. His owner is unable to keep him so tonight I'm trying to help him find a nice family to give him a forever home. Happy New Year to everyone! 2017 was a great year for Halo Pet Services and 2018 is promising to be even better, starting off with a Wolf full moon tonight. Twiggy has been in training to be a perfect citizen, teacher and loving girl, she especially loves her big brother, Charger. He's also In my middle bottom pic with my Great Grandson, Marcus. Happy Thanksgiving week to all! Time to celebrate our packs and everything we are thankful for. Upper left; My twiggy was finally spayed, now she's officially one of Daddy's girls, with no more cycle distractions. Upper right; Ramu past away. He was my client for 6 years. He was big and awesome. Once a dog becomes my client, they usually stay my client. When they get old and pass away, its so sad and it hurts like they were my own. He had a good life and he'll be greatly miss...ed Bottom left; He leaves behind his pack mate, Raja. Back to our long walks. Middle right; We've also lost a Great man, Uncle Frank. That's his Model A , he loved that ford and so much more. When I met him 25 years ago I was impressed by his handle bar mustache, then gradually as a man. A true mans man with many good stories. One of the greatest men I've known. And finally bottom right; Lucy and Weenie. Weenie is so small but so powerful. Peace everyone. See more

To me, game 7 of the MLB playoffs or world series is one of the most exciting moments in sports. Tonight, go DODGERS! In my grid, Charger was very happy when they won last night. There is nothing like spending wonderful time with my awesome great granddaughter to remind me how old I am. Taffy hanging out with Molly and charger. She loves everyone and they love her. And finally, Mafu stole Twiggy's favorite spot under the bed.

It's been an awesome and eventful last couple of months, sorry I haven't posted anything. First of all, congratulations to my incredible son, Steven and his gorgeous and smart bride, Aileen! I love you both. These two have found the secret recipe for true love and a lifetime of happiness. So proud of you two! And Charlie too. In other photos, My client Ramu doesn't get around very well anymore. Finally found a use for all those socks I've saved. My puppy training client, Francis came to stay. He was a blast, he was loved by all the Dogs. And Gypsy getting checked out by Lucy. Also shown, Tristan, Lola and Cocoa. Happy Fall!

This month I'm starting my 7th year of business as Halo Pet Services and Steve Farrah Dog Training. Thank you to all of my Stellar clients who made it possible! Mafu, Declan, Molly, Cocoa, Baron, Tristan, Riley, Wienie, Lola, Winston, McCovey, Kona, Meli, and Lucy are my clients in photo. With over 500 new Dog photos and dozens of clients on my camera in the last couple months, it's very tough to chose a few. Even if a Dog has a high ...drive (prey, rank, defense, fight or a low pack drive) we can over come them all. A dogs drive is permanent, but our training and teaching will always keep it in control or non existent. Dogs act on impulse, they don't rationalize things. Training will always overcome impulse. Back to the awesome business of Dogs this week after a fun and rejuvenating vacation. From the mountains to the beach and ending with watching my sons band play, my fun basket is full again. Have a great summer and please protect your beloved Dogs from the heat and flesh eating insects. Keep your Dogs happy and they'll always keep you happy!
