Not going to lie, i was enjoying all the free time being with my family & having time for school but now it’s just been way too long ~ i miss chatting it up all day with you guys & being behind the chair ~ June can’t come fast enough!!!

This week I’m focusing my education on hair cutting ~ Something that i didn’t initially love in beauty school but as i understood it more & more i found that same love for it that i do for color & styling ~ Right now it’s a struggle being in the beauty industry because we can’t do what we love & we aren’t making money but i still feel so lucky to be in it because of all the support & love everyone gives each other. This industry is a community, everyone wants to share thei...r knowledge & see the next stylist do just as well. The amount of free education I’m getting just from Instagram lives & workbooks is blowing my mind but making me more & more excited to get back behind the chair so i can use all this new knowledge!! ~ Check out my story to see my friend Olivia & her new shag haircut! Found this old gem in the archives! ~ The progress of sessions ~ patience & consistency is key when transforming your look ~ One more week of this shelter in place (as long as they don’t push it back) & we’ll finally be able to get back in the salon!!! We’ve made it this far W/O BOX coloring or cutting your own hair we can do it for one more week!!! (Just keep reminding yourself that it’ll take just as long as this shelter in place to get your locks back to how they looked at the beginning of this if you touch box color & cost wayyy more ) @ Brentwood, California

So how’s the first week of this shelter in place going for everyone?!? ~ I’m having a hard time even looking at any hair pics cause i miss it so much ~ & i miss hanging out with all you beautiful faces ~ i have a doll head coming in the mail so hopefully that will entertain me these next 2 weeks ~ Just remember how strong our country is & that we WILL get through this ~ just have to enjoy the ride @ Bay Area
