Today was my first 'trial day' back after my knee surgery! Used Heidi as my guinea pig to see how I'd do since the poor girl was 'booted' from my schedule 4 weeks ago! Before and after, and what a freaking GORGEOUS color it is!!! thank you Heidi for being so patient with me!! Soooo a bit of a set back for me and going back to work next week this is the low down from my Dr today: DR suggested another week or 2 off says persistent standing is only going to make it worse because of swelling. Say's Im looking at at least another 6 weeks until the motion of my leg goes back to normal due to them doing the lateral release. He thinks I bruised so bad because he thinks the surgeon may have gone through a vein when he put scope in. At this time I'll most... likely be canceling appts scheduled for next week and I'll see how I'm doing by mid week next week for the following week!! Im terribly sorry!! Update after having arthroscopic surgery on Wednesday (dr shaved down the fat pad, did a lateral release and cleaned out my knee)! Tonight I get to finally shower, excited about that but not looking forward to getting in and out of the shower though, ugh! Pain level is at about a 4-5, keeping up on my pain meds, icing as instructed by the Dr and leg always elevated! My love is out getting my bandages and running errands for me and I'm looking forward to having my son Justin, Jessi and my granddaughters over later today to visit
