What shampoo should I buy at CVS? Ummm I have no clue because I don’t even walk through those isles Ok so what is the difference between salon products and what’s at the drugstore? The ingredients look similar but it all comes down to concentration of these ingredients. Drugstore shampoo won’t have the same level of concentration of essential ingredients for your hair. Think of it like your high quality Whole Foods ingredients vs 99 cents store ingredients. Ya their simi...lar but the ends result will be better when you go with Whole Foods ingredients. This is great advice for anyone who has longer hair. It’s good to brush your hair before bed and wear low pigtails or 2 braids. This help keep your hair from matting at night due to tossing and turning

Going to bed with wet hair is a NO NO Our hair is the most susceptible to breakage when it’s wet, you’ll remember that’s why I did the tip about brushing before washing, so when you go to bed with wet hair you can ruin the fiber of your hair by you tossing and turning on your pillow case. Going to bed with hair wet can cause the hair to smell but never fully drying through the night. Most importantly it can harm the porosity of your hair especially if it’s already fragile. So go blowdry your hair now

What texture of extensions would you get? Straight or curly? I love customizing textures. I love to see your natural texture and then custom pick different texture to give you a perfect blend. Maybe you need a straight with a wavy or a wavy with a curly or maybe 2 different curly textures. This is a big one! I know everyone has little time to get ready but for this step make the time! Unless you like to boil and steam your hair. Ya I didn’t think so. It so important that when you are done washing your hair you really get out as much of the water as possible before you blowdry. I personally like to towel dry my hair then I wear it in a turby towel to remove as much water as possible. Then I take it down spray my leave in conditioner, brush, and then let it air d...ry a bit. I know this process for me takes about 30 min to an hour before I even begin to blowdry. I know it’s a bit long of a process but it’s so important to let your hair get rid of the moisture naturally before attacking with a hot tool. Not doing this step will cause dryness, more split ends, and overall dryer hair. It could even strip your color if you don’t remove as much water from the hair as possible. Does a cut after extensions even matter? Yes yes and yes, is the short answer. The cut after a new hair install is the difference between nice extensions to wow! I can’t believe that’s extensions! There are so many details that go into cutting extensions to blend because believe me it’s nothing like a regular natural hair haircut. You start by creating a shape, then there is the visual blend between the natural hair and the extensions, then I like to cut the length to ...what the vision of the end result is. Is it done then? No then I go in and cut into and texturize everything to blend. This is all visual and custom to every guest. So believe me when I say the cut is everything! Stitching. It’s so important to have a good stitch when building a good foundation for extensions. It’s one of my favorite parts of the extension process. Goals.... this is a really important part of the consultation process I have with my clients. My client is in the fitness industry and works out every single day.
