S A T U R D A Y N I G H T / This past week was jam-packed with three full days of @dkwstyling.academy business training and two full days of taking clients. It was WONDERFULbut it was also an absolute whirlwind. I spent the whole week promising myself that I when I came home Saturday night, I would pour myself a hot bath (and maybe a glass of wine), sink in up to my neck, and just decompress Reality? Last night I got home late, ate a quick dinner, powered on my laptop, ...ordered new hair for an upcoming @naturalbeadedrowsextensions install, worked on some business analytics, updated my NBR service pricing, gathered some marketing content, washed my face, and finally fell into bed. No relaxing bath, no decompression Isn’t it wild how you can spend an entire week promising you’ll carve out a little time for yourself, and when it comes down to it, you end up doing EVERYTHING else instead? Le sigh. Luckily, today’s a new day. And even though there might be a little laundry involved, it’s also taco nightand I’m thinking this time I’ll wrap things up with a nice, hot bath.
