It’s days like today that make the tough ones worth it. Life is hard. Choose your hard wisely and have a pack of people around you to love you along the way. @jeffthecloser

This adventure of mine i call life. The twists and turns and the miraculous ways that you can see that God has your back and will show up- but only if you do. Only if I step out of my comfort zone Only if I show up in new ways... I can have a whole new perspective on this life. This trip has been bumpy and we already have so many stories to tell. This trip has also shown us what we can learn, adapt to, drive, pull on a trailer, love, forgive, and live in this beautiful life. @jeffthecloser thank you for saying yes to a crazy dream. Thank you for asking me to be your wife and to be a mama to our boys. Since you showed me your heart I have since found pieces of mine that I lost. You’re my rock babe. Here’s to a hundred more years and millions of trips on our new family bus!

This rock totally looks like it’s from Indiana Jones! Ya it does! Start running and look scared! Haha... These moments in the wilderness with my wild boys are moments that I have engrained in my mind forever. Just like these desert rocks, day after day, our lives change. The wind, weather and climate take pieces of these rocks with them every time they are near. It’s magnificent how they have changed the terrain. Just like the land, change is the one thing that is guaranteed. Before I was their mom, I felt like I could live forever. I took even the smallest things for granted. And I wasn’t quite sure where I was running to...I just knew I was running. Since these little ones have run into my life, I know that each day is a gift. And one I’m not taking for granted.

Melted in a chocolate root and blended those highlights. 2020 really brought on the true meaning of lived in hair. I love when a guest embraces a more natural look for lower maintenance. ... Swipe for the before. All @euforainternational hair color.

POSING GUESTS *When asking a guest to move or adjust their stance, be polite and gentle. Guiding them and helping them to feel comfortable and beautiful is key. While we take pictures daily- they don’t have pictures like this taken often. #empathetichairdressing *Use your hands to direct their line of sight (e.g. it looks beautiful. Can you please look at my hand down here, Jenn?) or using your hands to slightly adjust their hand to look down (as long as you are gentle)... works too! This picture is a great example of a pose you might use for a client that doesn’t want their face in the picture. Having them look downward and to one side also exposes movement in the haircut and color. Knowing our guests and how they might feel is to helping them have a relaxing and comfortable service. It also helps you capture amazing pictures of your work

Dandos School of Love and Shenanigans begins today with Elijah jumping into 6th grade, Jeff working remote and me keeping the chaos at bay staying healthy and hopefully cutting some hair soon! We wish everyone a happy, healthy, and adaptable school year. We know things are hard and times are tough, but we have each other and that’s what matters! @ San Diego, California

As a hair artist, the hair is my canvas in which I paint. My subject is my guest and my intention to paint and accentuate the natural God- given beauty she already carries. The time I have with each guest is a gift and one I, most definitely, don’t take for granted. @ San Diego, California

It feels good to be with my people. My guests. My team. My craft. Things might be different and growth sometimes may be uncomfortable. What matters is the lens in which you look at life. I am full of so much gratitude and love
