UC Irvine Medical Center will still be home for about another week. Had a couple good days in the week since the surgery and a few bad days. Still a long road ahead in our journey to beat this. Today Ken is resting (I wish I could say comfortably, but the important thing is he is resting). He had gone many a night without sleep. Still dealing with pain, but nothing like days prior. Good thing is, he does have a room with a view. View of Angel Stadium and maybe some of their... fireworks. We are both so very appreciative of the fantastic staff here at UCI Medical; Dr Jutric, Dr Nagiri, Dr Lee and and all the nurses (especially Denise) who have cared for him over these past 9 days. UCI Medical Center, home for the next week. After a very long day (yesterday), Ken surgery went well. Last night he was comfortable and his surgeon said was doing very well.
