The guinea pig hotel

In light of recent events and closures we have decided to temporarily suspend reservations. This is due in part to the difficulty obtaining supplies such as pellets, veggies and bedding in addition to not wanting to put our family ( but primarily my immune compromised husband) at risk by coming into contact with people who have been traveling. Thinking of making and selling boredom busters, these are made with orchard grass hay, natural rafia, and cardboard. The picture on the right is a hanging toy that will make them work a bit for their treats. Any one interested? They also work great for bunnies, cats and parrots.

As many of you know, I have spent the last part of the year recovering from a very bad car accident in the spring. While I still have pain and discomfort from time to time, my issues pale in comparison to those of my hudband. He has had a debilitating and ongoing health issue for several years and after 6 surgeries, we hope that his newest doctor will be his last. We are finally seeking the help of an out of area specialist. Due to the travel and various appointments, our a...vailability for boarding will be much less than it's been in the past. We will be making several trips to a bay area doctor for treatment. Additionally, I've had to take on extra work to help us make ends meet, which means my time spent at home will be less. The current reservations are not affected by our travel plans, so please don't worry. Thank you for your continued support.

Hops is enjoying his buncation while his mommy and daddy are on their honeymoon. He's quite possibly the fluffiest animal we've ever encountered and we are loving it.

If you are currently affected by the evacuation order in Glendale/ pasadena/Eagle Rock due to the brush fire, we are accepting guinea pigs and bunnies for boarding.
