How to keep your New Year’s resolution and keep your Life! Every year people make new resolutions to better themselves for the New Year. The downside is before January is over most people have already given up on their resolution. It is a bummer to know we give up personal improvement barely a month into the process. To help keep you on course for the New Year, follow these tips that have helped me reach my yearly goals. We have all heard There’s an app for that and there a...ctually is an app for that. Keep this in mind while setting a New Year’s resolution or general life goals. This is to help you in life not complicate your life. Time Management Set Alarms & Calendars- This is a basic application that come with all of our cell phones. This is so easy to do, and we are glued to our cell phones most of the day anyway. My last year’s resolution was to go to the gym, but my biggest excuse for not working out is I am too tired. Well guess what I set an alarm to be in the bed by a certain time. It may sound odd but I have always been a night owl with a crazy sleep schedule. I would set an alarm to job hunt or do any other life changing task that needed strong commit. This small daily reminder definitely helps! Eat Healthier & Work out Eating healthier has been made easy due to all the new apps that will choose healthier meal options for you and provide you with the groceries. Unless you are going to the store to gain some additional steps, these apps can save you time and money! Usually everyone makes resolution to eat healthier and get in shape. Well guess what ‘there IS an app for that’ as well! I bet you did not know that you can download an app that will PAY you for the amount of steps in a day?! One of the main reasons why people do not continue with a work out regiment is lack of motivation. They now have apps that will pay for the amount of steps you take and you can challenge your friends to get up and walk more as well. Save Money Personally I love my apps that allow me to put all my bills in once place and it makes a budget for you. Definitely do your research on these app before adding in your personal information. Like many apps they will try to charge for all the additional bells and whistles, however most are free and work great. Many people do not realize it but you can actually do all of this through many personal banking apps as well. There is nothing fun about sitting down trying to make a budget and remembering to pay a bill. It is great to find an app that will do it for you. There are also apps that will create an additional savings account for you. Yes, a Saving Account! My mom finds it mind blowing that anyone under 30 years old would even have a saving account - but I do, and you can too! Hopefully these few tips will help keep your new resolution and turn it into a Lifestyle. PS- Once everything starts running on a smoother life cycle you will have more time to use the ultimate app CANDY CRUSH!!!!

Time to ring in the New Year with a New BA of the Month! Congratulations to Nathan Rogers - he's been working on an extended program with us since November and we are very happy that he is our field. A little insight from Nathan: "- I heard about GTE Agency through an ad I saw for a gig.... - I would advise a prospective BA getting into experiential promotions to focus on 3 things: a. Preparation- Know the brand (& it's products) that you are representing, practice a sales pitch before your first demo and also memorize a few key details about the product. b. Presentation- Make sure the product and any promotional items (flyers, keychains etc.) is displayed neatly. Also make sure you are dressed appropriately, clean shaven, etc. in order to look and feel your best. c. Execution- Make sure to arrive early enough so that you have plenty of time to set up and so that you won't be rushed or stressed. When you arrive, immediately check to confirm that there is enough product on site to make many sales and then check in with the manager before setting up. Be extremely polite and professional while interacting with both customers and store staff, this will leave them with a great impression of the brand you are representing. - My favorite brand that I've worked for through GTE Agency is X2 Energy. The team has been very supportive and responsive when any issues have occurred. - My favorite thing about working with GTE Agency is the Account Executives that I have worked with, they have been very helpful by answering any questions I've had, have kept me updated with all pertinent information regarding the BA position and have been consistently courteous and professional. - Outside of BA work I really enjoy social gatherings whether that be a church service, a party/celebration or a small gathering such as having lunch and watching NFL with a few friends. Aside from that I love cooking, traveling, basketball, reading and relaxing! - One of my personal mantras is to: "Always give 100% effort". This goal has really helped me as a BA because I leave each event knowing that I ran the promotion to the absolute best of my ability." Thanks for sharing, Nathan! WEST VIRGINIA Holiday Sampling Event $95 Flat Rate/day We are currently seeking energetic, engaging and reliable sampling staff for the Holiday Tasting (In-store Demos). We encourage staff who enjoy working with food products (or are foodies) to apply! Team members will be showcasing various products each shift. All staff must be able to work on their feet for the full 6-hour shift. This is a great way to make some holiday cash! Checks will be processed on 12/15 payroll (just... in time for holiday shopping). We’re excited to work with you! Additional details below.
