Golden State Model Railroad Museum

The health and safety of our visitors and volunteers is very important to us. We are monitoring the information regarding the current COVID-19 outbreak and are following the guidance from local, state and federal health agencies. Based on recommendations from the Contra Costa County Health Services, and out of a preponderance of caution, we have decided to postpone the date of our public opening for this season until May 3rd. This may change depending on how the situation evolves. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this rapidly evolving situation.

Thank you to everyone who visited us throughout 2019. Today, Sunday December 29, was our last running day of the 2019 operating season. We will be closed January through March for our annual repair, renovation, and improvement period and will reopen to the public in April 2020.
