We're rolling into a season that will definitely not be normal, but will ultimately still feel busy. And we're also brining with it all of our of baggage from this year. So remember, we can lay everything before Jesus and in Him, find true rest. "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

We've all been there. You realize something that you probably should have known a long time ago, but are now just figuring out. What has been that thing for you?

Here's Jessica with her Worship Wednesday thoughts on what it's like to be back worshiping together... Worship expression here at Good Shepherd is on the rise! When the pandemic first started, I felt that God wanted us to use the seclusion of our homes as safe places to practice expressive worship (dancing, hands raised, sitting with eyes closed, laying on the floor, etc.) and intentional listening to the Spirit during the musical portion of the services. Now that some of us are back, all of that home worship time has made its way into service. Also, thanks to our GS Kids joining us in service at 10 AM, the energy during our times of singing and motions has been boosted all the more!

What's the secret sauce that makes Good Shepherd tick? Find out on Thursday mornings in November as Pastor Todd teaches on the three elements that make us who we are as a church. On a day like today where everything is partisan, take a moment to watch this week's worship service. It's full of music, messages, and prayer about how, as Christians, we can live beyond the division in our world.

We all know what's happening tomorrow...and the best thing we can do about it is pray. Join us tomorrow morning for this month's special edition of First Tuesday. Come to the sanctuary anytime between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, stay as long as you'd like, and pray for our community, our country, and the world. If you can't make it in person, pray from wherever you are during that time, and together we'll lift these things to God.

On this All Saints' Sunday (as well as the day after Halloween and Daylight Savings), we had another morning of worshiping together.
