G's Custom Doors

These right here is probably one of the most difficult jobs we had. Not because of the installation but because we had to carry 10 units up 4 stories on a scaffold. Each unit is 104 tall and was very heavy because of the glass. we needed about 4 people to carry up one unit at a time. Anyways, what makes these windows so special is that the the top sash is curved. So yes, we can make windows or doors curved with or without curved glass. I’ll post a video of how they operate next.

This is a few units of single hung windows we did in San Francisco. Beautiful home that was being completely remodeled at the time. These are single hungs meaning only the bottom window was operable and the top window was fixed. We did a lot of frame work on these windows. They required a lot of work Due to the house’s old age. After framing we inserted and sealed the units into the frame. After we installed the windows, we did the casing of the windows. The casing is the white thick border around the window.

This is from the same job in San Bruno. We also did some casing work on the exterior of the window (first picture). Now all you have to do is paint that baby and your as good as the other windows’ casings. Maybe even better than the other ones if you ask me.

This here is a set of casement windows that we made in San Francisco. We made 5 sets but this is 1 of them. There was already a set of windows in this opening so we had to install ours behind it. We made a new window frame but we reused the glass from the original window per the clients request. the moulding of the new frame is the same shape as the original window.It also has new locks the replicates the original locks.
