Improving useable ankle range of motion Not able to hit depth with a squat? Could be lack of ankle dorsiflexion! Here is a great exercise to help improve range of motion to get low. Setting up to what is your end range of dorsiflexion. Start driving your front part of the foot down like pushing a gas pedal without letting your heel lift. Increase how hard you push for 10sec. Slowly relax and start to lift the front foot up toward your shin, without leaning back. Keep pullin...g up for 10sec.
