The group will be conducting a live interactive paranormal investigation & demonstrate tips & techniques. Guests will get hands on experience in a real live paranormal investigation. The GRIT team will show how to use digital recorders to capture EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon), EMF meters (they can register electronic spikes), IR (infrared) and full spectrum video and still cameras as well as working with the iOvilus and other gear. Over the last 40 plus years the Ghost Town has been the location of dozens of alleged sightings of ghostly apparitions & other paranormal activity by visitors & staff alike. It is ranked the 6th most haunted site in America by PBS' perennial series "This Old House" online. Silver City has also been investigated by dozens of paranormal groups. Many reportedly captured evidence of poltergeists; Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP's), paranormal photographs & some groups have had physical encounters & captured anomalous videos. During the lantern tours Corlew (who has lived on site for 30 years) will recount the eerie legends of the valley & focus on the numerous controversial paranormal events & sightings which have reportedly occurred at Silver City... Robert and Bridget Honings are a married independent team that have been investigating the paranormal for about a decade throughout the Southern California area. The tour will be from 8:30 to 10:30 PM Sometimes a little over, with time after for individual exploration of the site & face time with the experts. The cost is only $15.00 per person (all ages). All proceeds from admissions & these special events are utilized (as they have for 28 years) for continuing operations costs on site. No public funds or tax dollars are utilized to operate Silver City. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a paid adult.
