Wish You friends a lovely upcoming New Year 2013~~ May You all be blessed and Loved <3 ~~ Let there be Love and only highest Love all around and gratitude to th...e 'Universe'. "THE NOBLEST PRAYER" Love is of two types - higher Love (devotion) and ordinary Love (affection). When the Love is directed towards a 'higher' object of Love, it is called 'Devotion; and when it is directed towards an 'ordinary object' of Love, It is called affection. Thus our Love for this 'Universe' is called 'devotion' while all other categories of Love (material) is called 'affection'. When 'Love' is directed towards 'higher' our mind expands, our faculties broaden, our vision deepens and our efficiency multiplies. This type of 'higher' Love has been glorified in all the philosophies of the world. Here we give Love and expect nothing in return. The very fulfillment of devotion is in the joy of devotion experienced by the devotee. Throats choked with emotion, hearts full of Love, tears of joy trickling down their faces, devotees from every faith across the world dance in the ecstasy of Love for the 'Universe'. And the whole 'Universe' is to them is nothing but the 'Lord' s own divine form. Everything in the 'Universe' is 'sacred' and 'divine', deserving of their deep Love and total reverence. Devotion to the Lord is therefore a means to cultivate Love within our hearts. To hear 'His' glories, to sing about 'His' beauties, to reflect upon 'His' presence within us, are some of the ways by which a devotee grows in his Love for 'Him'. To recognize 'Him' in and through the world, and to adore 'Him' with sincere and active Love for all living creatures is the highest worship, THE NOBLEST PRAYER. ~ Source Copied, amended, drafted from spiritual diary.
