Today’s Surprise.NOW OPEN WEEKENDS! We’re finally reopening our OG Tasting Room in Orange ( @greencheekbeer ) this weekend! Starting tomorrow 10/31, we’ll now be open every Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 8pm, for limited seating inside our tasting room. It comes with a few rules, and some social distancing within our limited seating, but we can’t wait to see you all for some beers at our OG spot! The Rules under the current mandate:... * Wear a mask anytime that you are not seated at your table. * Each person drinking beer is required to order a meal from the visiting food truck. We will have $5 meal vouchers available for purchase. We’ll be keeping the roll up doors open to keep fresh air rolling through as much as possible, so feel free to bring an extra coat to keep ya cozy if it’s a bit chilly out. Overjoyed Sour DIPA w/ Strawberry, Pineapple & Passionfruit, 8.6% abv The ultimate juice bomb has arrived! and all it took was 2.5 lbs of fruit per gallon to get us there, ha ha! It hits with a light sourness that creates a tart juiciness to the palate that’s refreshing in the heat, (aka it’s not overly s...our). The aroma is straight fruit, with the pineapple and passionfruit jumping out of the glass. The strawberry is a bit more in the background, but definitely hits on the mouthfeel. The @freestylefarms Motueka (in the dry hop) brings a touch of limey goodness to the mix, and a soft bitterness that holds the whole thing together. (Ps. With this one, we finally branched out a bit, and dry hopped it with a... blend of @crosbyhops Idaho 7 and @royfarms_hops Amarillo, and we’re really stoked on the results!!! Festbier - Munich-style Lager, 5.8% abv Not the amber colored Marzen-style beer you may be used to, our version is the paler, modern example that is served at Oktoberfest in Munich these days. Compared to our Helles, it’s a bit richer in flavor, a touch hoppier, golden in col...or, and fits in a little more abv. The drinking experience has been a favorite for our brewers, who have been drinking it in the steins pictured, by the liter. $14 per 4pack. No limit. Bier - Helles-style Lager, 5.2% abv Using all German ingredients, except for the water, each batch is another baby step towards recreating what we’ve experienced in Munich. Straw in color, with a subtly and nuance that is hard to describe, and instead, needs to be experienced! We Got The Weekend - Hazy West Coast IPA w/ Talus, Mosaic, & Southern Cross, 6.8% abv Hazy West Coast IPA? What’s that!?! Well, it’s something our pals Tim & Connor at @cellarmakerbrewing came up with. As Connor Casey writes in the recent IPA issue from @craftbeerbrew , this is a style that brings out the best of the two leading styles of IPA. He’s ref...erring to west coast ipa & hazy ipa, and this beer sits in the middle of the two. With a leaner body and less haze than our Hazy IPAs, with a bit more clean, soft bitterness too, we dry hop these a bit higher than our West Coast IPAs. $17 per 4pack. No limit. Just One Thing...Nelson! - DDH Hazy DIPA w/ 100% Nelson The first in a series of beers highlighting the extremes of one single hop variety, double dry hopped to overload the senses with all of what it is. Birds. - Imperial Stout w/Thai Banana, Cacao Nibs & Planifolia Vanilla Beans, Collab with @horusagedales , 10.8% abv Our 2nd release with Kyle from @horusagedales is a bit more over the top than the first. We apologize, but it ended up taking us a bit more time for t...his one. The same base beer as the first release, but this time forever conditioned on a ridiculous amount of Thai Banana, Mexican-grown Planifolia Vanilla and Cacao nibs. We really liked where it was at, but felt like it needed even more Banana, so we hit it again with more Thai Banana, and finally got those banana split vibes that we were hoping for. If you remember our release Don’t Tell Brian, we used a different banana variety on that one, and got completely different results on this batch. Anyway. Extra thick, with a massive, syrupy body, that greets your nose from the first sniff with all the delicious flavors from the ingredients above. Don’t cellar this!
