This e-book gives us a visual glimpse into a low-carbon future, containing a selection of photo-simulations the author created depicting positive change to the built landscape. Price has collaborated with Greenbelt Alliance on different publications, sharing his pictures of the transformation of landscapes happening in the Bay Area. Action alert: Despite rapidly increasing rates of sea-level rise that are expected to inundate much of the Bay Area coast in the coming years, the City of Newark is still moving forward with a highly-controversial development plan that would pave over hundreds of acres of restorable wetlands with luxury housingall in a FEMA flood zone. The City of Newark has a chance to move away from outdated patterns of development and take into consideration the science of nature-based s...olutions to prepare for the worst impacts of sea-level rise. In a last-ditch effort to stop this destructive development before it is too late, five environmental organizationsthe Citizens Committee to Complete the Refuge, Center for Biological Diversity , Greenbelt Alliance, Sierra Club, SF Bay Chapter, and San Francisco Baykeeperhave launched petitions calling on State regulators to step in and exercise their full regulatory authority to protect the Bay’s wetlands, waters, and wildlife and challenge this harmful project that would leave a lasting impact on the Bay and our ability to become more resilient to a changing climate. Help us protect this critical open space for wildlife and for natural protection to the worst impacts of climate change!
