WHEN GOD'S PEOPLE PRAY Saturday, November 7th, 2020 Dear heavenly Father, we come to You today as a humble people desperate for Your supernatural intervention on behalf of our beloved nation. First, we thank You for all the blessings You have bestowed on our land, blessings that have allowed us to bring so much good and benefit to not only our own citizens but also to the rest of the world. The very ideals upon which this country was founded were based on biblical truths, no ...matter how some try to rewrite history to deny that very fact today. This is why our hearts are so broken over how You continue to be marginalized and dismissed by both our people and institutions. It is for this reason that we repent. Thank You for Your promise to hear our prayers when we call to You with hearts of repentance and obedience. We are sorry how we have ignored You in this world and invite You into all the affairs of our nation and this world and we praise You in advance for Your answer. In Jesus’ name. When God'sPeople Pray Thursday November 5, 2020 O Lord, You are the great and awesome God that is merciful and forgiving. You are righteous and we have done You wrong by turning away from You. Yet, You have promised in 2-Chronicles 7, that if we would humble ourselves, pray, seek Your face, and turn from our wicked ways, then You would hear our prayer, forgive our sin, and heal our land. So we choose to stop pointing our finger at the sins of others, and examine our own heart...s and lives. We choose to acknowledge our own sin and repent. In these unsafe days, You remain all-powerful and able to protect; in these uncertain times, You remain all-knowing, leading us aright; in the unprecedented events we’re facing, You remain absolutely sovereign. Our times are in Your hands. Therefore, our dependence on You, is total, not partial...our need for Your forgiven...ess is constant...our gratitude for Your grace is profound...our love for You is deep.
