ACUPOINT DRUMMING MEDITATION ~ Sundays 5:30 311 Neal St. Grass Valley, CA This therapy begins with setting the intention of connecting to and harmonizing with the energy that is flowing through our bodies. In a meditative combination of rhythm and focus, individual acupuncture points will be selected. You will be guided with imagery description, without use of needles. We will tap into each point’s consciousness, accessing their higher healing potentials.... The drum is an ancient acoustic instrument that invites us back into our most basic, primitive states for deep connection within ourselves and the primal beats of nature. Just imagine thousands of years ago, sitting in circle with your tribe, feeling the beat of the drum course through your body, resonating in your heart and the heartbeats of the collective consciousness in sacred space. This segment of our community clinic supports both the restoration of harmony in your individual body, and the attunement to the dynamic, ancestral forces facilitated through drumming. This is a cash-only, donation-based offering. Reserve your spot to ensure a seat, as there are only 5 chairs available. Drop-ins may bring a yoga mat if they choose to lay on the floor. We have blankets and pillows for use. Offered every Sunday, 30 minutes before closing, which will most often be 5:30pm, unless otherwise noted on the schedulicity website.
