I was just scrolling through the last few years of posts and your comments. Last year at this time we had 200 people in this group. Now we have over 500! I will be participating in NaNoWriMo again this year, but not to write a novel -- I am going back to work on my Grandparenting in the 21st Century book, and I need your help. How has Covid19 changed the way you engage with your grandchildren, or with your adult children, for that matter? If you are a parent, how has the vi...rus impacted your relationship with your own parents, and their relationship with your children? I'm not just looking for sad stories of how so many of us don't get to hug our grandchildren, although those are helpful too. I'm mostly looking for ways in which people have adjusted, adapted, created new ways for families to stay in touch, and especially for how grandparents and grandchildren have changed the way they spend time "together." I'll eventually develop a survey, but for now I'd just love to hear your stories . . .You can post them here on our Grandparenting Matters page, or if you prefer, send me a dm. See more
