Today marks a new focus for Grand Bakery where we will highlight members of the community who inspire us. First up is Oakland’s Isha Clarke @curlyqisha organizes and activates for social change. She focuses on environmental justice as an important intersection point for racial equality and economic justice. You may have seen her in #DianneFeinstein's office where she confronted the Senator about climate change with a group of young people from the organization @YouthvsApocalypse. We're proud to support Isha as an inspiring Jew of the Bay. Shabbat Shalom!

Generations of Jews, rebels and activists have united over coffee and bagels to strategize and organize. We want to contribute in this small way to feed and fuel the spirit of progress. Grand Bakery's Feeding Tikkun Olam initiative will sponsor local events with a focus on organizing for policy change. We can learn more, but we know what we see.
