APRIL 16, 2016! This was one of the most important memories in my life. I received my 7th Degree from my father Grand Master Robson Gracie. It was great to share this occasion with so many family and friends. Thank you all!

May 18, 2020 Dear Students & Parents of Students, We hope you are all doing well and staying healthy. Over nine weeks ago we made the incredibly difficult decision to temporarily close our academies in order to support our community and do our part in stopping the spread/flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have always prided ourselves in supporting our community and leading efforts that result in a healthier and safer environment for our students and community as a whole.... During these past several weeks we have continued the practice of social distancing in order to cooperate with government restrictions and guidelines. As the closures continued, during conversations with other local business owners, we realized that people were not abiding by the same guidelines - stores were packed, people simply weren’t practicing social distancing, state and federal recreation parks became increasingly occupied as people looked for ways to enjoy their time, incidentally disregarding stay at home orders. We have continuously monitored government briefings in hopes that communications would become clearer as to when the curve had flattened and restrictions would begin to loosen or lift entirely. However, it became clear that our government officials did not have a plan in place to effectively enforce their stay at home orders, nor provide assistance to the businesses they were forcing to close. They have failed to provide small businesses with critical assistance and to make matters worse applications, approvals, and communications have only become more convoluted while the restrictions remain. As multiple states begin to open and guidelines begin to loosen, we have decided to reopen our doors effective Monday, June 1, 2020 in an effort to support our community by becoming leaders in advocating for the survival of small businesses. As long time business owners, we feel it is our obligation to fight for both the survival of our businesses, along with the entrepreneurial spirt that has lead to the establishment of so many incredible businesses within our communities. We have always taken the necessary steps to ensure student safety and will continue to do so while maintaining the rigorous standards of cleanliness and hygiene that our academies have always been known for. We will be sending a follow-up email that will include a carefully formulated plan for resuming classes and how we will do so safely. Please take the time to read it and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you all for the continued support and dedication to our academies, we are grateful for your trust in us to teach you our family’s art. Our academies would not be what they are today without our amazing students paving the way for such a positive and uplifting environment.
