Hands pressed together in gratitude for this beautifully written Grenache piece by Eric Asimov in The New York Times. Grenache has long been my heart-grape, enough to move continents thrice and CA counties x nine. Although we may still have one more move in us, Grenache will forever be my first grape love. Thank you, Mr Asimov for the most honouring inclusion. in profile xoxox P.s thoughts on NZ Chenin Blanc?? ()... https://www.nytimes.com///dining/wine-school-grenache.html

NYT!!! Incredibly proud to indeed call her by her Grenache name, this little love of mine.... Most gracious thanks to @ericasimov and the New York Times for featuring Grenache/Garnacha in your wine school, and grace in your trio . I love her as much as I did when we first met 19 years ago, and this is some truly humbling company to keep.... now to finding Commando G and Dom. Gour de Chaulé in Los Alamos!... Welcome, beauty!!! Amongst rather sideways rain and wind galore, we bottled our first expression of 2020 today. It really doesn’t feel like 5 months ago that we danced with these clusters, and yet here she is, bright as a cornflower: our ninth vintage of grace Rosé. I love rain, and I love Rosé ~ today was a good day. Thank you @jcbottling, you took the rainstorm all in your stride!! You could be Kiwi, you know.... ... Off to jump in some puddles now, xo
