This is October, Breast Care Awareness Month. Grace Nation has been greatly affected by this deadly disease. We want to bring our awareness to the forefront. Breast Cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among women per the CDC. Statistics also show that approximately 500 men are being diagnosed with Breast Cancer as well. Breast Cancer is a disease where breast cells grow out of control. There are also different stages of Breast Cancer. As women and men, we mus...t be vigilant about caring for our bodies by doing a breast care self-check monthly. No lump is too small not to have checked. Although October is designated as Breast Cancer Awareness month, let every month be necessary to remain consistent about your healthcare.
