Katie Spinks Colorguard Instructor I studied colorguard 4 years in high school and loved performing in numerous parades and shows/competitions. Both my twin brother, Christopher and I, enjoyed teaching 2 years at Tierra Del Sol Middle School and 2 years at Lakeside Middle School. I am excited to be teaching with my brother and we are bringing the joy of colorguard and the excitement of participating in the parades and shows. I look forward to the great fun we will all have together.

Christina Giebel Dance, Acting, and Vocal Instructor As the daughter of a dance teacher, I started dancing before I could walk. Growing up, I have always been either in a dance class or helping assist with one. I enjoy very much teaching and being able to work with children. I teach with love and patience, encouraging all of my students to do the best they can. I have won many state, national, and international awards for my dancing and singing. My passion is to dance for God and to glorify His name.

Zivanai Masango Guitar, Percussion, Marimba, and Vocal Instructor Zivanai Masango is a musicians’ musician, an instrumentalist that other musicians love to play with. His rhythmic and melodic sensibilities and the ability to find the most tasteful contributions to bring to the bandstand make him a favorite amongst his peers. He brings a wealth of experience gathered over years of working as a session guitarist, a record producer, recording artist and music educator to his l...essons to help his students grow into complete musicians. Zivanai has toured nationally and internationally with some of the world’s most legendary musicians, playing on stages from the Hollywood Bowl to the Blue Note and everything in between. He has been on the faculty of several music camps and clinics and also worked as a faculty member in the Colorado College music department in Colorado Springs.

Jennifer Martin Piano and Music Theory Instructor Jennifer was born and raised in San Diego and has been teaching for over 25 years. She showed interest in music at a young age, sitting on her mother's lap to play on their antique pump organ. At age 5 she began her piano studies with Sylvia Gocke at The Music School. She studied classical piano and theory for 12 years, during which time she competed in competitions, placing first in an international competition at age 16. She... also studied with Suzanne Kennedy, an SDSU professor, and Steve Baker. She began teaching piano at The Music School when she was 19, though she taught friends and coached those she accompanied from a young teen. Her approach to teaching is to foster a love of music and independent learning. Students are taught to read music and lead sheets. A solid foundation in theory is taught to give students a good base to take their music in any direction. She develops individualized lesson plans to help each student learn at their pace.

A Letter from the Director/Owner As an assistant dance instructor from the age of 10, and a dance teacher from the age of 12, I have been able to see and be a part of 40 years of a large variety of technique and skills, music, and competition. There have been many changes over the years, some good and some bad. Our studio is quite different from the normal dance and music studio. Our studio has many teachers with National, International and World titles, all coming together t...o give excellent instruction, in an encouraging and loving way and calm but exciting environment. Our teachers and students will be modestly dressed and dancing will always be age appropriate and never vulgar or questionable, our music will always be clean and without profanity or sexual content. While competition has driven other teachers to yell and pressured them to pressure their students, we believe in encouragement and being rewarded through reaching higher levels. We are very family oriented, and perform in places like Knott's Berry Farm, Del Mar Fair, Jambourees, along with bringing joy to the elderly at retirement homes. We have a recital and plan on several television shows each year. All of our students are invited to perform at these events, we do not pick and choose. We believe that every student deserves a chance to enjoy the fun. We are very excited to be bringing circus training along with colorguard, musical theater, Polynesian, acting and all of the musical training to add to our original tap, jazz, ballet/lyrical, hiphop, tumbling, cheer, ballroom, etc. to our studio. We invite you to come and be a part of our studio and pray that you will enjoy the many exciting varieties of dance and music that we offer. Also, enjoy a nice cup of coffee in our own coffee shop, Cafe Pas de Chat, located in our studio, serving coffee drinks and refreshments without refined sugars (opening in December). Hope to see you soon. Thank you and may God bless you, Lori Giebel
