Parenting is an daily exercise of trust, isn’t it? As many of our kids return to the classroom in the next couple weeks our parenting trust muscles are going to get a workout. We have to trust our kid’s to make wise choices. ... We have to trust the Lord to keep them healthy. We have to trust that our explanation of math will be sufficient once they get in close proximity to the teacher. We have to trust that they will step out of their comfort zone and reconnect with friends. As we work on our trust muscle remember Hebrews 13:8: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. We trusted Jesus over the last year and we can continue to trust Him now.
