Grace Fellowship of San Diego 17.10.2020

To the Saints at Grace Fellowship of San Diego, We are in the midst of an unprecedented national emergency because of the outbreak and rapidly spreading coronavirus (COVID-19). By order of the governor, gatherings of more than 250 persons have been banned. Many churches have made difficult decisions to cancel or go to live-streaming their services until the end of the month. We are carefully taking into account the recommendations of the governing authorities and seek to re...spond with care and wisdom, while trusting in our Sovereign Lord. The elders at Grace Fellowship therefore, after having prayed and discussed what would be best for our body and have decided to not meet together in person for the next two weeks (3/15 & 3/22). We advise you to take the precautions that are normally recommended every flu season. If you’re sick, part of an at-risk group, have a weakened immune system, or have been around sick people recently, stay home and rest. Those who live or regularly come in contact with people in those groups should also consider staying home as well. This will slow the spread of the virus and allow for the best treatment for those with the greatest need. We will stream the sermon live on Facebook and will endeavor to get the sermon audio posted to our website http://gracesandiego.org/resources/sermons/ as soon as possible afterwards. We understand that this is not the same as gathering for fellowship, but this is an opportunity to demonstrate love for our neighbor. It is a good time for us to remember that God is both sovereign and good, to fear Him alone, and be thankful for our eternal hope. It also provides us with an opportunity to love one another as we endeavor to make wise decisions in the coming days. Finally brethren, For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom 8:38-39 May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus be with you all.
