Well the answer is, we are selling our homes at prices not seen in Silicon Valley since 1985. IT'S STILL CHEAP HERE! Yes San Diegans, you are being lulled into a false sense of financial security. You’re going to regret selling your house in a couple years as its price will continue to skyrocket. This market has legs...CRAZY LEGS! Who’s buying these houses? Big Tech’s hot-shots, their top engineers, their best salespeople, their marketing wizards and their entourages are moving to San Diego in droves. For instance, Apple is adding 1,200 new jobs in San Diego at an upcoming engineering hub, which is up from the 1,000 jobs they promised when announcing the new facility. There's nothing wrong with a house sitting on the market for 30-days in order to get top dollar. What’s the big hurry in a sellers market? Isn't it clear to you that buyers are willing to pay more when the average home for sale is receiving up to seven offers? Whatever your house is worth now or whatever you think it's worth now, or whatever your agent told you it's worth now...add $300,000 to that number and THAT is its true value today! If you think you're outsmarting the market and selling at the topyou’re not seeing the big picture. Go visit San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara if you’d like to see the future of San Diego.
