I’d say: Put it back! The class of 1926 gave a plaque with the Ten Commandments to the Joseph Welty Middle School in New Philadelphia, Ohio, where it has been... on display for over 90 years! And now, because of a threat from the atheist group Freedom From Religion Foundation, the school has taken it down. Unbelievable. I’m thankful that Superintendent David Brand says he disagrees and plans to challenge the decision. This is a part of the school’s history and heritage, and I hope they decide to put it back up. Kids also need to see and understand where the standards for right and wrong come fromGod’s holy Word. See more
