The weather is warmer and it’s time to cruise in style! Anyone else dusting off classic carts and heading out?
Harley-Davidsons have long been a prominent feature in movies and TV. This episode from the Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries has one front and center. (Psssst, I think ours looks better ).
Most people are shocked to find out the Harley Davidson once made golf cars. Yes, it’s true! Come see for yourself.
Why a golf car museum in Cart Mart, you ask? Well, it’s in our blood. Pictured here is Cart Mart’s President, Brian Rott, and his sister in a Taylor-Dunn B248. Cart Mart has been in business almost as long as the golf cars has been around, since 1959!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and tons of holiday cheer!
The Museum’s latest addition, which is coming soon, came with some added pieces of history. Check out the references to coming from the Dolan brothers who started EZGO!
Experience the GO and VELVET FLO of the Pargo. Come by the museum to see our beauty of the year. Admission is free. We are located inside the La Quinta location of Cart Mart.
From our house to yours. However you are celebrating, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
This three-wheeled Stevens Club Car was manufactured until 1970. After that, all models had four wheels. - - - -... #clubcar #golf #golfstagram #golfcart #vintage #retro #museum #nationalmuseumofgolfcars #palmdesert #palmsprings #ranchomirage #laquinta #golfcarthistory #vintagegolfcart See more

This photo from 1959 is a classic as much as the cart in it. How do we know it’s from 1959? Scroll to the second picture. A true Kodak moment. - - - -... #kodak #1959 #vintage #nationalmuseumofgolfcars #palmsprings #palmdesert #laquinta #vintagegolfcart #golfhistory See more
This original cover of the release of the Taylor-Dunn Tee Bird shows a robust line up of options. Come by the museum, now located at Cart Mart in La Quinta, to see our gorgeous Tee Bird.
This image is from an actual post card and the inspiration for the restoration of our early 60’s Marketeer.
Yes, you are seeing stars...at the Stardust hotel. Golf cars have long been used in more applications than on the course. They can go places faster and easier than automobiles.
It might be a little toasty outside but you still need your caffeine boost. Our vintage trailer coffee cart is stocked and ready to serve you while you check out the museum.
Happy #throwbackthursday to the humble beginnings of the museum. These are the original three golf cars that we started with. We’ve come a long way and can’t wait to enjoy more with you.
Every day is #throwbackthursday at the museum. Especially with our very unique EZGO, with the seat cushions mounted to the front cover of a Cushman cargo box. Talk about versatile!
Taking it back to the very beginning today. This Autoette dealership was likely in the Long Beach area. These grocery getters were hugely popular in the area. They even shared the sidewalk with pedestrians, much to their dismay.
Fringe top or wide open sunshine, that is the question. Happy #throwbackthrusday.
The new location for the museum coming along! When you’re ready to visit, you’ll see Evelyn, a restored vintage trailer that will serve as a coffee cart. We’re looking forward to serving you.
Our hot rod styled Electric Shopper has been completed! It took a lot of work and love and we think it turned out pretty fabulous!
The Museum has moved to a groovy new space! Cart Mart has opened a huge new location in La Quinta with a dedicated portion just for the Museum. Watch for new photos and videos as we get settled into our new digs.
