Little bit long but informative especially to the ones who recently took our @zephyrpolishes class. End caps are a pain!! 1st step we rotary sanded from 320 to 800. 2nd step cut at 3200 rpm with Kwikkut and tr2 tripoli (watch how @jdr_the_king_peacock cuts to ensure all sanding marks are gone). 3rd we bring everything together making full passes with Kwikkut and tr2 tripoli. 4th is not shown but we acid washed. Some people do and some don't, it's your choice. 5th step we c...oat with pro 40 and use the Giuseppe (white and purple) wheel with Max red compound. 6th step is the final where we coat again with pro 40 and run between 1500-1800 rpm with no compound. This may seem like a lot but it is fairly simple once you've done it enough. Now this is what works for us and may not be what other polishers do and that's ok.
