Ash and I just spent a few epic days in Santa Ynez for our anniversary. We were utterly delighted to discover @queencupcoffee. Skyler and Alyce are creating something very cool and serving some damn good coffee! We are freshly inspired and looking forward to serving excellent coffees and teas @villawinebar this weekend!

Wow today was a big day and Chris learned a few lessons about inventory We are closing early because we are out of espresso, Mocha Java, strawberry syrup and a bunch of other stuff. So sorry if we didn’t get you the drink you wanted! We’ll be back next weekend stocked up @villawinebar ! Thank you all!

Ok espresso nerds, we have a coffee on special this week and this time it’s a single origin espresso! Equator’s Colombia La Cristalina comes from quality-focused, small-holder farmers near the town of Guática in Central Colombia. Crisp citrus acidity, fruit-toned chocolate and a creamy body. As Equator’s lightest roasted espresso, this coffee is great on its own, but also has the balance and depth to stand up to milk.

Guys, @gipsyhillbakery, a must if you like fine baked goods. Our favorite so far is this week’s Rhubarb & Custard Danish. Sorry, we (Chris) tore into these before thinking about taking a photo. But we didn’t buy them to photograph them! Love the transparency on the ingredients too, and the organic effort!

Obviously we have a limited operation at this time, but our intent is to grow and we’re looking for someone who wants to join us! We’ll consider any level of experience. There are a few musts: Cares about supply chains, where things come from, sustainability Friendly, likes talking to our rad customers, wants to get involved in the community... Willing to nerd out on coffee and tea At this point the shifts are Saturdays and Sundays, approximately 7:30am to 3:30pm (flexible), but things are evolving and (teaser) more days will be added soon, so let’s talk!
