The forever inspiring, colorific room of Vladimir Kegan featuring Frank Stella art. Said Kagan I’m supposed to be a minimalist I’m a maximalist. So I say, ‘Do as I say, not as I do,’ I’d way rather do as he does. Thanks @modernhaus (check out their feed!) for reminding me this morn to pay homage to those who inspire.

Best way to bathe! This place belongs to our friend Christina who is not on social media, but who does this cool thing called home exchange where you swap houses, no money involved, with people all over the world. We have a handful of shots we’ll be sharing of her home. Kat Alves took the photos. Here’s the link: https://www.homeexchange.com/holiday-home/1369339

Going through the book collection before the move deciding what to keep and what to let go of (peep my stories for my failing attempt at attempt at Kondo with the books) and thought of these photos. We have so many photos of peoples bookshelves, probably one of my personal favorite features in anyone’s house. This photo @katalves snapped during our visit pains me in that I either have to cut off part of the built in bookshelves or part of the transom-esque window to fit the p...hoto in the frame, neither a good option. Built in book shelves are where it’s at. So apart from the backbreaking it will take to relocate and squeeze them into a smaller abode, why get rid of them? The collection is what sparks joy as much as any particular book. The endless musky tomes were definitely my fave feature at the @deslindseya and @homestead_custom_sawmilling family home. See more
