PLEASE COME AND JOIN US! The Congregation Council has called for a special Congregation Meeting to occur on March 31, 2019 to follow the Sunday morning worship service. The expressed purpose of this meeting is to approve By Laws which will establish the formation of a two point parish consisting of the two congregations of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Fontana, CA and Lutheran Church of the Cross, Rialto, CA. Due to Congregation Constitution requirements, the adop...tion of these By Laws by ballot will require 2/3 majority approval for passage. The following is the formal motion presented by the Congregation Council for adoption: Bylaws for the Two-Point Parish of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Fontana, CA and Lutheran Church of the Cross, Rialto, CA

(Note: Due to November 6th being Election Day we have move our WELCA regular Tuesday meeting to Wednesday.)

ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL LUNCHEON WOMEN OF THE ELCA will host the Annual International (Pot Luck) Luncheon. on Tuesday October 2nd at 12 NOON. ... Members and friends of Gloria Dei and Rialto Lutheran Church of the Cross will meet in Gloria Dei's Eastroom to share an afternoon with friends. Bring your favorite food to share and join in the fun. ALL ARE WELCOME - BRING A FRIEND!

Come Join Us! In partnership with our sister Congregation Lutheran Church of the Cross, Gloria Dei would like to invite you to our Barbeque and Ice Cream Social on September 15, 2018 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm. In addition, we will have a Cookie Bakeoff! All homemade cookies are welcome! Remember to wear a holiday theme item, for instance, a St. Patrick’s Day Pin, a Christmas Shirt, and an American Flag pendant, etc. You get the idea. Our raffle continues right through the barbequ...e. The drawing will be at the end of the barbeque and we will award the cookie bakeoff prize and of course we will present our CCLM friend, Claire Seskavetz with all our donations collected.
