We are pleased to announce we are following the CDC & State Guidelines to resume routine eye care. We will have a reduced patient schedule and check your temperature before entering the office. You must wear a face covering and we prefer no guests accompany you to your appointment. We will be sure to sanitize the exam rooms & equipment thoroughly between patients. If there is a spike in cases, we will revert back to urgent patients only. We look forward to seeing you. Please be safe.
We just want to update you on what our office is doing to address the COVID pandemic. We are taking this health crisis very seriously. Our main priority remains the professional care we provide. We welcome visits from patients with any emergency or urgent needs. All routine care will be rescheduled through May 1st. We will continue to order and dispense glasses and contact lenses. Please call our office prior to coming to the office. We are checking temperatures on everyone entering our office. Please be safe.
There is no evidence that contact lens wearers are more at risk for a coronavirus infection compared to eyeglass wearers. Always wash and dry your hands thouroughtly. Those who are ill should avoid using contact lenses until you are healthy. Be safe.
Happy 2020 from your Eyecare team- Dr Glenda, Dr Mary, Nancy, Rob, Matt, & Cindy. We are here to help you see your very best!
Goofy glasses adorned your eyeball team! Best wishes from Dr Glenda, Dr Mary, Nancy, Rob, Cindy& Matt.
"Contact Lens Week" Tip: Don't mix old solution with new solution. Dump out old solution each day, air dry your case & add fresh each night. Be healthy!
Contact lens-related eye infections and other injuries can lead to long-lasting damage but often are preventable. Clean and safe handling of contact lenses is one of the easiest and most important measures patients can take to protect their vision. Hygiene is the most critical aspect of successful long-term contact lens wear.
August 19-23 is Contact Lens Health Week and this year's campaign theme, "Contact Lens Health Starts with You," encourages patients to take an active role in caring for their eyes through education on the consequences of improper contact lens use and the importance of regular, comprehensive eye care. Watch for some simply ways to enhance your contact lens experience.
Holidays are a time of thanks & hope. We thank each of you for trusting your eye & vision health to our care. We hope you have a magical holiday with your family & friends to remember your blessings & look forward to 2019! Glenda Secor & Mary Cote
Happy to share a quote in today’s Parade magazine in the newspaper.
You get your children pencils and backpacks for back-to-school, but what about an eye exam? That's right - 80% of learning happens through the eyes, so seeing the blackboard or textbook clearly is crucial to learning. Make your child's back-to-school eye appointment now! (714) 596-4488
Careful cleaning and safe handling of your contact lenses includes a rub and rinse prior to soaking in disinfection solution. Change your solution daily. Never reuse solution. Replacing your case regularly also reduces contact lens related eye infections.
Recommendations for healthy contact lens wear : always wash & dry your hands before handling your contact lenses.
