With our final week at the resource center quickly approaching, here are a few reminders about the upcoming fun: Jr. high and high school book return will be taking place both next Thursday and Friday (5/30 and 5/31) in the OOA all day. Please have your child bring their resource center books for those who are finished with their SCRC books. Book return will also be open during the bonanza on Tuesday (6/4). We must have all SCRC books returned before you are able to register ...for fall workshops. All next week, elementary classes will be having parties in the afternoon. Please send your child with a nut free snack, drink, or paper goods to share with the class. Please contact Noelle Watkins, [email protected], with any questions regarding the party. All lost and found items will be put in the front starting next week. Any items that have not been claimed by the following Wednesday (6/5) will be donated. Our annual end of the year bonanza will take place on Tuesday, June 4th from 10:30 am - 1:00 pm. Please join us for musical performances from our music classes and our variety show. If you are interested in performing in the variety show, please contact the front office by the end of the week. There will also be food for sale and the book return will also be open during this time. The elementary science fair will be open in room 4, so make sure to stop by and check out the amazing projects. Lastly, if you ordered a yearbook for your child please remind them to pick it up the next time they are on campus. There are still a few books available in the office for purchase. They are on a first come first served basis, so make sure to bring $45 to the front desk ASAP if you want one of these great keepsakes. We would like to thank our families for an amazing year. We could not have done it without all of you!

Our annual bonanza will be held on June 4th from 10:30-1:00. Stop by to watch our music classes perform, participate in our variety show, eat some yummy food, see the elementary science fair, and look through the classrooms at what your students have been working on this year! Book return will also take place at this time for those who did not return their books the week prior. If your student would like to partipcate in our variety show as a solo act or with a group, please email [email protected] or [email protected] with the type of act, name of the group/individuals, as well as the music that will be used by Friday, May 24th. Everything must be approved prior to the bonanza in order for the students to perform. We look forward to this fun way of closing out the school year with all of you!

Monday, May 13 - Friday, May 24 Calling all singers who want to further their education in music! Next year, the SCRC will have an advanced music class for those who want to challenge themselves around other talented singers. For students who wish to join this class, they must audition prior to enrollment. Each student auditioning should prepare a verse or chorus of their favorite song to perform for Miss Meske. Auditions will take place the week of May 13th and May 20th.... To schedule an audition, students may either sign up at room 18 when on campus or email Miss Meske at [email protected] for available slots. Good luck to all of our amazingly talented students!

Good afternoon, Unfortunately, we have to postpone the Spring Fling due to a high percentage of rain in the forecast all day Friday, and night. We will be rescheduling the Spring Fling for April 26th since we suspect a lot of families will be going out of town next Friday for spring break. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused our families. We are able to offer refunds to those who will now be unable to attend the event. The good news is that anyone who was hoping to go to the spring fling, but did not get a chance to purchase tickets, they are still available in the front office for $30 cash or check with a signed dance contract. The deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, April 12th.

Yesssssss, our favorite week is here again! Send your child to school with money: $2 for a slice of pizza, .50 for a cookie and .50 for a drink. Such an amazzzzzzzzzing deal!
