It’s a lovely day to see some beautiful art !

We are excited to announce that Glass Garage will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 to 4 starting this weekend, November 21. Come see marbles, ornaments, pendants, and more ... All made by our in-house crew of glassblowers. Covid restrictions will be in place. All customers are asked to wear a mask, sanitize their hands, and observe 6’ social distancing. ... We have missed doing shows and hope this will be an opportunity to see many of our friends.

Even though we are not a store and don’t keep regular hours , we are always happy to show off and sell our work. We had another successful Collabs and Clarity night at Glass Garage. Highlights include a rare 4 way pipe collab as well as several Redwood Tree team ups with Matt Kelley. He will be auctioning this off to raise money for Pay it Forward Humboldt and the important work supporting wildfire victims.

It's regrettable but inevitable that we have to announce that Humboldt Marble Weekend 2021 is cancelled. The facility that we use (the only room in Humboldt Co...unty large enough to hold the show), is currently a Covid test site and emergency hospital. Their contract runs until next June making our February show an impossibility. We hope everyone is staying safe and look forward to seeing you all in 2022 !

Glass Garage is now registered to be part of North Coast Open Studios tour. We have wanted to be part of this event for years, but just didn’t have the right space to pull it off.... This year we are finally ready to make our debut ! ... We are incredibly proud to be joining many of our friends at the Mendenhall Studios Complex to be part of this great event !

We’ve been working hard getting Glass Garage ready to host parties and collab sessions for Humboldt Marble Weekend. Special thanks to Scott Hemphill for welding up custom brackets to mount our spectator shield. We are also want to thank Wesley Hodges and Dave Stratton for donating and mounting the exhaust hood. ... I’m sure there will be some more minor adjustments, but we are feeling good about having a practical and safe demonstration studio in the heart of the city we adore ! Hopefully we will see many of you at the Humboldt Marble Weekend kick-off party, The Marble Makers Ball (Feb, 6 ...6-9pm).
