Camp Hope was blessed with the visit from a Doctor and medical team to provide Covid vaccines to 16 of our residents!

It is so important to stay safe and clean during these times. We are so excited to be delivering these wonderful care packages to Camp Hope! Stocked with biodegradable wipes, hand sanitizer, cloth masks, disposable masks, water bottle and community resource guide. Beautifully put together by Tuolumne County Public Health.

An amazing gift to our homeless friends! These awesome LuminAID Solar Lanterns were donated to residents of Camp Hope for Christmas, and surely lit up some spirits! Members of The Gathering, Sonora played a huge role in raising funds for these nifty little boxes. The Solar Lanterns will not only illuminate the resident's spaces in the dark, but also have USB plug ins so they can charge their phones. Something like electricity can seem so simple to some, but it a life changer for many!

GSAC hopes everyone had a very, Merry Christmas! On Christmas Eve, volunteers hosted a wonderful Feliz Navidad feast for the residents of Camp Hope, with tamales, sides, beverages and some amazing presents too: hand knit beanies, mugs, and more! Even bikes for one of the resident's children! Such a treat to see our friends enjoying a nice hot meal and some simple gifts.

GSAC is planning a very special Feliz Navidad for the residents of Camp Hope tomorrow afternoon! Volunteers are busy preparing some delicious food and there are a few Christmas surprises in store... Stay tuned to see what they are!

The Gathering, Sonora Pancake Breakfast: A SUCESS! Members of The Gathering cooked outside of the church and assembled bags with pancakes, sausage, butter, syrup, apple juice, milk and a $10 gift card to Subway! The bags were delivered to Camp Hope, where others were brewing fresh coffee via a generator. Camp Hope residents came down to pick up their breakfast bags, and other’s had them delivered right to their campsite! Members of The Gathering described the Pancake Breakfast as a true blessing to them all. It was such a treat to see residents of Camp Hope enjoying a nice, hot meal with friends.

The Gathering, Sonora has organized a Pancake Breakfast for the residents of Camp Hope! Members of the church will cook outside at the church and assemble bags with pancakes, sausage, butter, syrup, an apple, juice, milk and $10 gift card to Subway! The breakfast bags will be delivered to Camp Hope where others will have fresh coffee brewing via a generator. Camp Hope residents can come down and grab a bag, but members of the Gathering will also deliver directly to their campsite! We cannot thank the Gathering enough for their consideration and generosity. We look forward to seeing the faces of the residents light up when they receive their Pancake Breakfast!
