This #BlackHistoryMonth, we want to take time to celebrate Black innovators in STEM. Today we introduce Katherine Johnson, who was one of the first African-American women to work at NASA Johnson's work included calculating trajectories, launch windows, and emergency return paths. Her mathematical skills were responsible for keeping people safe while they traveled in space! She has won an impressive number of awards and achievements.
