Good Morning Neighbors! Ive had something come up today that I need to take care of so i will be opening the Produce stand tomorrow instead of this afternoon! Wednesday and Thursday 3-6:30 will be the last days we are open this season!! A love for agriculture runs in Farmer Sammy’s family! Grandpa Carl and Grandma Ruby fell in love during the height of WW2. While Gpa was the head chef at one of the largest Army camps in the Philippines, Gma was fulfilling her role as ‘Ruby the Riveter’ here in the states. In the mid-50’s the Merriam Family settled down in the central valley, where to this day they are still a prominent member of the local almond farming community.
