It's been the wildest ride of my life so far, been putting in an incredible amount of work, lost many (fake) friends and had to deal with a few setbacks but overall... I wouldn't change a thing! Regarding the whole #ferguson #grandjury debacle, I am not upset because Darren Wilson walked away a free man. I would have accepted this result had it come after a criminal trial. But deciding this matter through a SECRET grand jury proceeding makes our justice system look really bad, like Stalin-era USSR bad. Grand juries are usually summary proceedings used by prosecutors in order to weed out bad cases that would cost a lot of money to try and where the prosecutors are not sure they can prevail. But in Ferguson, the grand jury proceedings took months and cost tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. Instead, the prosecutors should have press charges and let justice play its course. And here's another interesting stat: in cases that don't involve cops, grand juries indict defendants... 99.9% of the time

Good to see a federal judge taking a strong stance in support of gay marriage... He destroys the tradition argument: "It was tradition to not allow blacks and whites to marry... Prohibition of same sex marriage is a tradition of hate and savage discrimination." Well said!
