RSVP at the link below to join us in cheering her on! Veneese studies pulmonary and environmental toxicology in Dr. Laura Van Winkle's lab. While Veneese was always interested in environmental science and public health, a personal connection to her research topic motivated her to study the effects of air pollution on lun...g health: "I am also an asthmatic. So, my passion to study pulmonary toxicology really stems from my yearning to understand how the environment affects my lungs, and what I can do to help others like myself."
