Warehouse Worker in Chino Duties: Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons. Assembles and disassembles wooden or cardboard. Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding. Attaches identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.... Rejects damaged items, records, shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Operate forklifts (only if certified) or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area. Backup for generating packing list, B/L in the computer system. Backup for generating shipping labels, utilizing UPS & FedEx systems. Backup for modification of product. Maintains quality service by following organization standards. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Completes reports by entering required information. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor / manager. Skills/Qualifications: Be in good physical condition to bend, kneel and lift cumbersome and /or heavy objects. Basic computer skills Accuracy in data input and order filling.
