Shihan Darren Jordan Has been training in the martial arts for over 46 years, Darren holds a 6th Dan black belt in Jissen Budo International, a 5th Dan in Kyoku...shin Karate, 2nd Dan in Kudo International Federation and a 1st Dan in Judo. Shihan Darren Jordan is also a world silver medalist and is the pioneer of Kyokushin Karate in the Central West and is the highest grade for the Kyokushin in the area. He has taught many people in the town of Parkes NSW, he is internationally recognized for his martial arts instruction and leadership. They have been hauling all year and their hard work has paid off! Gavin & Some Kinda Highbrow have qualified for the 2018 World Finals in the #2 spot, and Michelle has qualified for the Non-pro World Finals in the #5 spot! What do you do when you want to honor a dear friend that has left us all way too early? If you are Gavin Jordan and his wife, you load up Some Kinda Highbrow and drive 22 hours straight to the Trey Hunt Memorial cutting in Texas. You enter the open, and you go line up your turn back help. Winning this cutting isn't about the money, it's about honoring Trey Hunt. Gavin felt like there was no better way to attempt to win it then to have Trey's dad Bobby Hunt in his right corner. Bobby had not helped anyone in over 10 years.!! When Gavin was riding to the herd and he passed Bobby, he said the same thing to Bobby that Trey always told his Dad when Bobby helped him "Don't mess this up!". We were able to sit and talk with the Champions of each Intermediate Division newly formed here at the PCCHA Holy Cow Performance Horses Futurity about their ex...perience participating in the class, and hear their take on the idea. Kody Porterfield, Ashley Bosack, and David Costello had nothing but great things to say about the progressive idea for the class and how much it has benefited this show!
