Proud to show off our Spring 2018 Gateway to College students!!! We are already on our fourth week of the semester. The students are settling in and doing great! More than half of them are working toward graduation THIS semester. We are excited for all that the next four months will bring.

Today was Day 3 for the GtC Shasta Fall 2017 semester and we were honored to have Alicia McCauley, Founder of Vigilante Kindness, give a presentation to all of our students about her work and experiences in Uganda. She shared a powerful message about the value of education, global mindedness, and the impact each of one of us can make. We sincerely appreciate Alicia taking the time to share with and inspire our students...and staff!

On April 6th, our GtC students were able to attend an excellent motivational speech given by "Chef Jeff". Chef Jeff's visit to the North State was made possible through a partnership between Economic and Workforce Development (EWD), STEP-UP, and the Shasta College Foundation.
