Gallixa skin cream reported to speed and improve wound healing in horses A newly published study found that Gallixa skin cream accelerated the healing of lower leg wounds in horses, as well as reducing infection. The study, by equine veterinarians at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, measured the healing rate, the quality of healing (indicated by the amount of granulation tissue, which can interfere with normal healing), and the amount of bacterial infection, against similar untreated wounds.
