Pandemic News Blues It was our last beautiful hang out at Galeria Beso Maya for artist @tonantzin415 Galeria Beso Maya will have to close. Today Beso Maya turns 7 years old when I signed the lease. I opened for art on June 7th 2013. Galeria Beso Maya was a dream accomplished and I just want to say thank you to everyone that made this place beautiful!! ... I opened a place that could reflect my heart for art and most importantly my community of brown and black artists!! As the days progress, I plan to have a live Funerary ceremony that I will invite folks to participate in. Besomaya is a concept and although I believe its important to mourn a place, Besomaya will continue to support artists through grants at a future date.
